“Beep, beep, beep.” At 5: 30 am Ron reaches out to silence his alarm. Blinking, he stares up at the ceiling and mentally walks himself through his day. Wondering how he will fit everything in, he pulls himself out of bed. Ron feels as though his job is beyond his skills, as if there is no way to accomplish the tasks at hand. Indeed, he all too frequently cannot visualize how to reach his goals. He goes through the motions of his morning routine quickly, dreading the commuter traffic ahead. As a mid-level manager for a large insurance company, Ron must arrive at the office before 7: 00 to ensure that his team is at work on time.
