Methods: Retrospective study of patients with advanced cancer, who received HPN from 2011 to the present, in our center. The study has a descriptive design. Median was used as the measure of central tendency to expose the data. A survival analysis (Log Rank test) was also performed.

Results: 30 patients (63.3% women), with a mean age of 56.2 years (SD 10.8), with advanced cancer were analyzed: gastrointestinal (60%), genitourinary (13.3%), head and neck (10%), breast (3.3%) and others (13.3%). The ECOG at the beginning of HPN was 0-1-2 (83.3%) and the BMI was 17.7 kg/m 2 (SD 2.9). The most frequent indications were intestinal obstruction and short bowel syndrome (30% and 23.3%, respectively). Most of them used individualized HPN complementary to oral intake (46.7%).
