This paper studies the impact of electronic commerce (e-commerce) on the management of Spanish tourism. The paper contributes to the literature that emphasizes the importance of e-commerce and information technologies for tourism companies. The survey analyzes companies’ reasons to use e-commerce, its difficulties, consequences, and other important topics like electronic payment or the logistics of e-commerce. The paper also analyzes the relationship between the use of e-commerce, and a company's strategy, organizational structure, management information systems and human resources management.
