In the last few decades, increasing attention has been paid to reflexivity, a practice of change and new learning that has been applied to many different contexts, such as clinical interventions, training and education, social change group interventions, and organizational development (Carli et al., 2007; Mezirow, 2003; Scaratti and Ripamonti, 2009; Schön, 1993; Striano, 2001). Most reflective models share several common features, in which reflexivity is seen as the articulation of several different elements: The critical event (considered the breaking of the routine), the relational and contextual interaction between people, the building of a new narrative (or the creation of a new context of shared meanings), and the transformation of action.
