Life on this planet is seriously threatened by water pollution. Water resources have become contaminated by hazardous contaminants including the effluents of synthetic dyes as a result of industrialization. Therefore, to remove synthetic dyes from industrial effluent, an environment-friendly technique must be proposed. Herein, we are addressing the green synthesis of nano-sized silver particles using radish microgreen extract by wet chemical method. Further, we have characterized them by FT-IR, UV–visible spectra, XRD, and HR-TEM techniques. The synthesized MG-AgNPs exhibit a well-resolved surface plasma resonance (SPR) band at 425 nm. The average size of the particles was calculated to be 16.11 nm. The final MG-AgNPs are also remain as such for two months period.
