Current research is aimed to determine the impact of group SPIRITUALITY training on decreasing DEPRESSION of female students. This is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest and control group design. Procedure of sampling has been done by cluster random method. For this purpose, 20 students were selected and randomly classified into control and experiment groups. Members of the experiment group participated in ten group counseling sessions for one and half hour. A week after the last session, posttest was administered for both groups. In this research Beck DEPRESSION inventory (short form) and spiritual experience inventory from Ghobari and et al. were used as measurement tools. Beck DEPRESSION inventory was used for measuring the extent of DEPRESSION of members and measuring the impact of presented education spiritual experience inventory (Ghobari and et at.) was used for measuring the extent of SPIRITUALITY. Result indicated differences between experiment of and control groups were significant. That is spiritual intervention including prayer, forgiveness, transcendental meditation, and finding meaning in life helps to dectease DEPRESSION in female students.
