The article presents a case study of 17-year-old female with Phytophotodermatitis through contact with lime juice. Topics discussed include consumption of lime juice by the patient along with exposure to sun leads to formation of blisters that developed as erythema; presence of 5-methoxypsoralen as furocoumarin in lime juice that act as photosensitizer; and consideration of Apiaceae family plants as prime cause for phytophotodermatitis under ultraviolet (UV) exposure.
