Lung oscillometry is a sensitive tool that detects SAD using the R5-R20 parameter. We aimed to study the prevalence of SAD in the Indian asthmatic population using lung oscillometry. Methods: The International Network for Lung Oscillometry Research (ARISE) that comprises of 31 sites across India was established for generating new knowledge in the emerging field of lung oscillometry. Oscillometry was performed in patients routinely visiting the respiratory clinics using the Antlia FOT device (iCALTECH, Bangalore. India) according to the ERS 2019 standards.
