Despite prurigo nodularis’s toll on patients’ physical and emotional well-being, limited information exists on its economic burden. 2, 3 The goal of the present study was to quantify the use and cost of emergency care for prurigo nodularis. We used data from the 2016 National Emergency Department Sample from the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project.
