简介
Chipless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has established itself as one of the prominent techniques for identifying and detecting objects. Unlike optical barcodes, tagging technology does not need line-of-sight communication. The design and analysis of chipless RFID transponders using the circular Split-Ring Resonator (SRR) and the Koch snowflake fractal of the third iteration are discussed in this work. The Radar Cross Section (RCS) and frequency coding approaches are studied, as well as a comparison, demonstrating key characteristics of the transponders such as physical footprint and spatial densities are investigated. As a result, tag production costs are reduced. The maximum RCS are found to be -22.24 dBsm and -25.6 dBsm for transponder 1 and 2 respectively.
