Periodic dissipation studies of lambda cyhalothrin in cauliflower curd were conducted at IIHR, Bangalore, from two treatments each of 2.5 EC and 5 EC formulations of the insecticide. The initial deposits of lambda cyhalothrin were high from all the treatments (0.81 to 1.59 mg kg−1), which dissipated quickly to reach below detectable limits by 10–15 days. The half lives (RL50) of lambda cyhalothrin in cauliflower were 2.0 to 2.4 d, while the waiting periods (Ttol) were calculated to be between 4.2 to 5.2 d from the different treatment concentrations.
