Conclusions: OSI and VIS are both important predictors of death and ECMO in CDH. Although the combination did not show a statistically significant prediction in need for ECMO and death, OSI and VIS are important tools that can help to assess hypoxic respiratory failure and cardiac dysfunction seen in CDH. Larger prospective studies could help assess their utility in this patient population.
