Investigated the relation between smokeless tobacco (ST) use and blood pressure in 710 male and 923 female (aged 18+ yrs) Ss. Findings show that 69 of the males were self-reported ST users and 35 were previous users. Less than 1% of the females had used ST. The mean blood pressure of current male ST users (aged 18–25 yrs) was higher than that of current male cigarette smokers and nonusers of tobacco.
