AGAA b st ra ct s front-end (more details in our previous work). In this study we examined the feasibility of recording and stimulation in 6 patients with gastroparesis. Patients received two electrodes and leads, which were placed-a proximal and distal. The electrodes were secured to the gastric mucosa and the leads exited via the nasal cavity. The acute portion of the study was conducted in the recovery room after operation. SWs were recorded from the distal lead, and the stimulation was delivered to the proximal. Baseline SWs were recorded for 8 minutes; three types of stimulation were delivered: low energy (5mA, 330µs, 14Hz, 1s on 4s off), high energy (5mA, 300ms, repeated every 20s), pulse train (5mA, 500µs, 25Hz, 2s on, 3s off).
