Methods
We studied 589 patients with confirmed symptomatic COVID-19 who were hospitalized from May 2020 to June 2020 to COVID-19 facilities in the state of Qatar. We categorized them into 2 groups; NAFLD and no NAFLD, based on the hepatic steatosis index (HSI).
