Background
The concept of high-power short-duration (HPSD) radiofrequency ablation has been suggested to generate quick and efficient lesions for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI). Our objective was to assess the procedural characteristics and the rate of first-pass isolation (FPI) associated with HPSD and very high-power short-duration (vHPSD) ablation in comparison to the low-power long-duration (LPLD) ablation technique.
Objective
Assessing the prolonged effectiveness, procedural attributes, and first-pass isolation (FPI) rate of high-power and very high-power short-duration (HPSD and vHPSD) ablation techniques in contrast to the low-power long-duration (LPLD) approach.
