Anti-oxLDL antibodies are present in patients with atherosclerosis, those with AIRDs, and healthy individuals. 8 In multivariate analyses, anti-oxLDL autoantibodies discriminated better between patients with peripheral vascular disease and control subjects than did any of the different lipoprotein analyses.
