In renewable power generation, solar photovoltaic as clean and green energy technology plays a vital role to fulfill the power shortage of any country. Modeling, simulation and analysis of solar photovoltaic (PV) generator is a vital phase prior to mount PV system at any location, which helps to understand the behavior and characteristics in real climatic conditions of that location. In this context, a single diode equivalent circuit model with the stepwise detailed simulation of a solar PV module under Matlab/Simulink ambience is presented. I–V and P–V graph of solar PV module provide a broad understanding to researchers, manufacturers and social communities.
