Purpose
This study aims to determine the financial toxicity (FT) level in cancer patients, identify the risk factors associated with this level, and reveal the effect of this level on patient outcomes (health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and treatment non-adherence).
Methods
The data of 316 cancer patients, who were receiving inpatient treatment in an oncology hospital affiliated to a public university in Ankara, Turkey, were ≥ 18 years old, and were receiving chemotherapy for at least 3 months, were evaluated. The data were collected through a face-to-face interview.
