During the Coronavirus 2019 outbreak, medical students who spent their internships in hospitals were at higher risk of contracting the Coronavirus 2019 because they were in COVID-19-infected environments. This led to increased stress and anxiety of medical students compared to other students. On the other hand, many medical students feared that they would be infected with the COVID-19 in a hospital setting and, as an asymptomatic vector, could transmit the coronavirus 2019 to their families and relatives.
