In this study, the Ag/Fe3O4 nanocomposite was constructed by the leaf extract of Eryngium planum (L.) as an appropriate antibacterial and cytotoxic agent. The green synthesized nanostructure was characterized using UV–visible, X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) techniques. In addition, the antibacterial and antifungal activity of Ag/Fe3O4 nanocomposite was determined by the disk diffusion method. The cytotoxicity of Ag/Fe3O4 nanocomposite was determined by 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay.
