简介
Introduction
Students are the main source of information regarding teaching quality and effectiveness. This study was designed to investigate the view points of Rafsanjan Medical University students at clinical settings towards the role of ANATOMY courses in achieving CLINICAL OBJECTIVES.
Methods
A descriptive study was performed in the year 2005 in which 97 clerkship and INTERNSHIP STUDENTS were selected by census sampling method. They filled in a valid and reliable questionnaire using a five point scale from very high to very low. The data was analyzed by SPSS software using descriptive statistics.
Results
Based on the students, trunk ANATOMY had the most application and head and neck ANATOMY had the least application in achieving CLINICAL OBJECTIVES. Moreover the students believed that more attention has to be paid to ANATOMY of abdomen in trunk ANATOMY and neuro ANATOMY in head and neck ANATOMY.
Conclusion
Considering the importance of trunk ANATOMY and specially ANATOMY of abdomen, it is recommended to pay more attention to teaching these courses in a more applied manner.
