According to the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), around one billion people are hungry, undernourished, and live without adequate daily calories. The effects of climate change on temperature, precipitation, and other factors are likely to diminish agricultural productivity. Farmers all over the world depend on chemical fertilizers to increase crop productivity. The disproportionate practice of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides contribute to environmental pollution and adversely affect human and animal health. Microorganisms can be an attractive and eco-friendly substitute for synthetic fertilizers and can reduce the various types of strains in agricultural productivity.
