Mallidis et al. in Report Econometric Institute EI2010-39a propose a framework to assist supply chain managers in designing green supply chain networks. To be more specific, they set-up a methodology for estimating the parameters and identifying cost as also environmentally friendly supply chain configurations in a green supply chain network design problem. The applicability of the proposed methodology is examined through the development of a green supply chain network in the South Eastern Europe region.
