Nowadays, flexible, mechanically strong and lighter biocompatible composites are required to substitute the heavy metal implants which can cause allergic reactions or tissue rejection in humans. Therefore, this work reports the deposition of a polymer bioactive membrane formed by a mixture of CaSiO3 microparticles (CSO-MPs) and an acrylic polymer (AP), on flexible graphene composites (FGCs) by using a hot pressing method. According to the mechanical tests, the (CSO-MPs + AP)/FGC composite has an elastic modulus ≈107% higher than the bare FGC. In addition, the (CSO-MPs + AP)/FGC composite was immersed into a simulated body fluid (SBF) solution for 21 days. As result, a layer of biocompatible hydroxyapatite was formed on it.
