Depending on the movement of an index, investors in the funds may achieve a greater or lesser degree of return.[0004] In such a scenario, an inventor is dependent on the manager of the fund to maintain any invested money during the life of the fund as well as have sufficient capital to pay out to the investor either at the time of the conclusion of the fund or at an earlier point of redemption.
