简介
Optical coherence-domain reflectometry (OCDR) uses short-coherence-length light sources and interferometric detection to perform optical ranging measurements of micron dimensions. 1 OCDR provides noninvasive, noncontact, high-resolution measurement that is attractive for a variety of clinical diagnostic applications. OCDR can perform direct measurements of anterior eye structure and is potentially useful as a real-time diagnostic for keratorefractive surgical applications where precise measurements of corneal thickness are required. In addition, measurement of intraocular structure can facilite the diagnosis and monitoring of a variety of eye diseases. We have previously demonstrated OCDR measurements of excimer laser corneal ablation depth, corneal thickness, and anterior chamber depth. 2
