Epilepsy is a condition that is fairly prevalent in the general population. These patients are more prone to physical injuries than the general population. 6 Recent reviews have documented a host of injuries in epileptics, which can be attributed to their seizures, ranging from oral and maxillofacial 7 to multiregional. 8 In a search of the literature, however, no cases with documented CMN of the legs or any other body part were encountered. This is believed to be a rare important pathological entity to consider in the epileptic patient, due to its delayed presentation and the possibility of it being mistaken for a soft-tissue tumour.
