Myocarditis after the use of immune checkpoint inhibitors is a potentially fatal complication. Immune suppression with glucocorticoids is often effective once the problem is identified. In a patient with glucocorticoid-refractory disease, use of alemtuzumab rapidly reversed the myocarditis and led to complete recovery without infection.
