Eleven species of sharks are commonly caught commercially off Isla Cerralvo, Mexico. Gut contents of three species were analyzed. The sicklefin smooth-hound feeds primarily on benthic crustaceans and fishes; the scalloped and smooth hammerheads prey mainly on neritic fishes and mesopelagic cephalopods.
