Abstract; Foreign body in the urinary bladder causes recurrent infection and stone formation. This is an unusual case report of a bladder stone formed on a non-absorbable suture 20 years after a female sterilization. It was detected with ultrasound and pelvic X-Ray. Laparotomy was done for its completed removal as cystoscopy failed to remove it. This case highlights that abdominal-pelvic scan and pelvic x-ray in addition to a urine test, should be included in the early part of the investigation in the management of recurrent urinary tract infection to exclude the possibility of the bladder stone
