The implementation of e-government in Malaysia is the main element to reform government operations in adopting a customer-focused approach via online service as well as improve traditional government services. E-Syariah is one of the seven projects under the Electronic Government flagship application of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). E-syariah Portal, one of its modules, serves as a gateway for the public, Government Agencies and the Syariah Courts to access relevant information and utilised E-Syariah services. A study was carried out to examine the individual context in terms of user acceptance of the e-Syariah Portal. UTAUT, a well established model is used to measure the influence of the user’s experience towards each potential determinant of behavioral intention for using e-Syariah Portal services.
