简介
The need for conservation the environment, combined with an increased understanding of the risks related to soil contamination on human health, has increased the interest in reducing the forms of contamination to which they are subject. Soil is a highly dynamic and complex system, so the success of its decontamination depends on the choice of technique, characterization of soil and contaminant. The use of plants and microorganisms for this purpose stands out as a viable alternative since the ability of plants to absorb pollutants associated with the ability of microorganisms to degrade contaminant compounds culminates in an effective practice with regard to decontamination. Therefore, this work aims to review and discuss some agents of soil contamination, besides presenting the use of palliative techniques for decontamination and remediation as employment of living organisms, such as bioremediation and phytoremediation.
