The underground natural gas pipelines require severe reinforces in certain areas to enhance safety in operation. In this paper is presented an algorithm for pipelines reinforced with sleeve and spacer rings. The methodology presented consists in the resolution of a complex, multiple static indeterminate structure of using the bending theory of the shell. A case study highlights the benefits of the proposed method.
