Mental health has attracted much attention globally following the WHO's strong statement in 2005:“There is no health without mental health.” The importance of mental health has been further recognised in the Sustainable Development Goals, primarily in goal 3's target to reduce premature mortality by one third from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment, and promote mental health and wellbeing.
