Patient searches health information through online and other mode also. With different information they gather, it leads to enhance emotional intelligence and better self-management. This study aims to examine the literature on the dissemination of such information through web. It also explores the various approaches that scholars have used in this field. The article titles were extracted from the PubMed database using the keywords emotional intelligence, self-management, and health seeking behavior as the search terms. The study was conducted to identify the most influential journal articles published in the field of health seeking behavior. A total of 397 articles were retrieved using the keyword search.
