Background: The rivastigmine transdermal patch offered smooth and continuous delivery over 24 hours with fewer side effects when compared with oral formulation in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) patients.

Objective: To evaluate tolerability after switching from rivastigmine capsule to transdermal patch in mild-to-moderate AD patients.
