Method: Four workshops were held with representatives (n= 48) from sport, health and education organisations. Workshop attendees were asked to participate in three activities to interact with the Draft ASC Physical Literacy Standard and the research team facilitated four focus groups across these workshops. Data from the workshop activities and the focus groups were analysed for key themes against the aims of the research.
Results: The initial perception was that the Standard was complex with 32 elements across four domains (physical, social, psychological and cognitive). To comprehend the Standard required attendees to consider it on both a micro and macro level.
