METHODS

The chiropteran fauna has a group of ectoparasites associated with them. The importance of these is that they could be potential vectors of diseases of public health interest. This work is carried out in three zones of the department of Antioquia, since there are few records about them. The objective of this study is the taxonomic identification of ectoparasites associated with bats in periurban areas of the Aburra Valley, Antioquia-Colombia.
