简介
The population dynamics of Scirpophaga incertulas, Chilo suppressalis, Sesamia inferens and C. polychrysus were studied on deep water rice in Bihar, India, during 1990. Infestation increased with increase in age of the crop. Stem infestation decreased with increase in maximum temperature and rainfall and decrease in minimum temperature. Scirpophaga incertulas was the dominant borer species during the flooding and post-flooding periods, while Sesamia inferens was dominant during the pre-flooding period.
