This case study is designed to explore theprocess of implementation of co curricular management at secondary schoolsamong 10 teachers who are involved as a group of cocurricular management in two states Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. This study was implemented based on management theories Stoner, Freedmen and Gilbert (1995) and also Gulick’s principle of management (1954) with minor alterations to fit the study needs. This qualitative study utilized the constant comparison method for data analysis. Data were obtained from three techniques which are in-depth interview, observation and document analysis. Participant selection was based on purposive sampling methods, in order to facilitate an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon in question. The analysis and data collection process was conducted simultaneously and continuously until data saturation was achieved. The results of the research show that all participants have given their opinions about the implementation and also the process of cocurricular management at the secondary school. Generally, this study shows that co-curricular management used fouraspects to manage cocurricular activities at school in order to maintain the excellence of cocurricular programs. The five aspects are: planning, organizing, leadership, control and community involvement.
