Arylalkylmonofluorophosphonates were prepared by condensation of arylalkylaldehydes with the lithium salt of diethyl 1-fluoro-1-(trimethylsilyl)-methylphosphonate. Reduction and hydrolysis sequences gave the final products. These compounds do not inhibit the myo-inositol monophosphatase.
