Pain is one of the common symptoms that nurses observe in patients, therefore pain management and relieving it is priority of nursing intervention. So nurses need to correct knowledge, attitudes, and skills about pain. The purpose of this study was to clarify the effects of education on improving the skills of nurses about knowledge, assessment, and management of pain in Neishabour hospitals in 1383. In the semi experimental research sixty nurses of community of nurses who worked in Neishabour hospitals were randomly selected. The data was collected by using standard questionnaire based on knowledge, attitudes and practicality of nurses about understanding, assessment and management of pain before and after educational programs.
