HAMILTONII” submitted to the University of Mysore, for the award of the degree of Doctor of philosophy in Biotechnology, is the result of the research work carried out by me in the Department of Food Protectants and Infestation Control, Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, under the guidance of Dr. T. Shivanandappa, during the period July, 2001 to February, 2006.
