Rationale Fibrotic interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) result in worsening dyspnea and reduced quality of life. The European Quality of Life-5 Dimensions (EQ-5D) is a multidimensional patientreported questionnaire previously used for fibrotic ILD. The objective of this study was to calculate the MID of the EQ-5D for patients with fibrotic ILD. Methods Patients who completed the EQ-5D were identified from the prospective multicenter Canadian Registry for Pulmonary Fibrosis. Both incident and prevalent cases of fibrotic ILD were included, and there were no exclusion criteria. Anchor-based and distribution-based methods were used to calculate the MID for the EQ-5D.
