简介
This study assessed the discriminative validity of three visual perceptual tests: the Developmental Test of Visual Perceptual Skills-Adolescent and Adult (DTVP-A), the Motor-Free Visual Perception Test-Third Edition (MVPT-3), and the Test of Visual Perceptual Skills-Third Edition (TVPS-3). The DTVP-A, MVPT-3, and TVPS-3 were all originally developed and standardised within the United States. A total of 49 participants diagnosed with a neurological impairment and 172 healthy participants living in Australia completed the three tests. Statistically significant results provide evidence in support of the three tests’ abilities to successfully discriminate between the two groups of participants with a known diagnostic difference. This provides evidence to support the three tests use in clinical and professional settings, to test for visual perceptual dysfunction.
