A 22-year-old female patient was admitted to the emergency department with nausea and hematemesis. Her history revealed that she underwent LC approximately one year ago. Physical examination revealed tension arterial 90/50 mmHg, pulse rate 100 beats/minute, and right upper quadrant tenderness. Laboratory findings revealed that anemia (hemoglobin 9.5 g/dL) and elevations of a liver test (alanine transaminase: 49 U/L [normal range, 0 to 40 U/L], aspartate transaminase: 109 U/L [normal range, 0 to 40 U/L]). Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy detected hemobilia. Computerized tomography was immediately performed and detected a pseudoaneurysm 18× 10 mm in the gallbladder region and revealed minimal perihepatic fluid.
