Background:

Preeclampsia (PE) is a pregnancy specific syndrome that affects 6–8% of pregnancies worldwide. The specific pathogenesis of preeclampsia remains incompletely elucidated. Many tests have attempted to establish the diagnosis of preeclampsia as early as possible, often even before the patients develop arterial hypertension.

Objective:

This study aims to identify whether the platelet indices and fibrinogen level are significantly affected by preeclampsia compared to normal pregnancy

Patients and methods:
