Int J Cardiovasc Imaging (2016) 32: 1425–1426 DOI 10.1007/s10554-016-0922-0 inspiration suggesting ventricular interdependence consistent with pericardial constriction. A diagnosis of pericardial constriction with significant pericardial inflammation was made. Surgery was initially considered but given the active pericardial inflammation a trial of antiinflammatory therapy was decided. The patient was put on antiinflammatory therapy with colchicine and ibuprofen for 4 wee6s. Low dose diuretic was also started. Her symptoms completely resolved over the course of the following month. A follow-up CMR performed 4 months later revealed complete resolution of pericardial inflammation with normalization of pericardial thic6ness and absence of any signs of constriction (Fig. 1, bottom row).
