Wavelength-division multiplexing passive optical network (WDM-PON) is an attractive technique for 5G mobile fronthaul (MFH) due to the large bandwidth and low latency. Auxiliary management and control channel (AMCC) is required for WDM-PON to achieve an efficient network deployment. In this letter, we experimentally demonstrated up to 10-Mbps baseband over modulated AMCC superimposition on 10-Gbps WDM-PON. We proposed a low-complexity interference elimination (IE) method for AMCC extraction which significantly decreases the bit error rate of AMCC signal by suppressing the interference caused by the WDM-PON signal. With the help of the proposed IE method, over megabits-per-second AMCC implementation can be achieved with different modulation indexes which is prospective for future 5G MFH.
